Jurmala is a city by the Gulf of Riga and the largest seaside resort in the Baltics, just 20 km from Riga. It is the ideal place to enjoy the sunshine the sea breeze the culture and the unique architecture. In Jurmala you can see exquisite wooden buildings with woodcut architectural details from the late 19th century as well as modern cottage-style houses. .On the west side of Jurmala you can find Ķemeri National Park which offers routes developed specifically for travellers, and you can walk these trails together either with a guide or individually. The most popular nature trail is the Great Ķemeri Bog Boardwalk. Kemeri is a lovely town, a former sulfur water and mud resort, with romantic wooden architecture, perfect for all those who are artists at heart. Kemeri is known for its great biological diversity, especelally bogs and swamps.
