SmileLine is a Riga tour agency offering guided tours in Riga and across Latvia in 14 different languages. Whether you prefer exploring on foot, by bus, bicycle or kayak, we offer a range of experiences to help you discover Riga your way.

Our professional local guides bring the city’s history, architecture and culture to life while sharing their favourite recommendations for things to do in Riga. From famous landmarks to hidden corners, we want every visitor to leave with a better understanding of the city and great memories of Latvia.

We offer regular daily tours in English and German, with departures at 10:00, 10:30 and 13:00. Our office is located in the heart of Old Riga, inside the House of the Blackheads on Town Hall Square. Look for the big yellow umbrella with the “Guides SmileLine” sign.

I stumbled upon the Smile Line Agency (www.smileline.lv) while exploring the Old Town and took one of their guides for a private walking tour. The guide named Toms was excellent and very personal. I told him at the start of the tour what I was looking for and he provided me exactly what I wanted. My interest was to cover some of the Old Town but also the Art Nouveau area of Riga and the food market. I must say he nailed it and tailored the tour to exactly what I was looking for. He gave me a wealth of information and had an answer to every question. The highlight of the tour was a visit to the market hall where he took me from hall to hall sampling all of the local Latvian foods which was a real treat for me. It was like touring around with a friend of mine who just happened to be an expert on Riga!
