Housed in impressive former German Zeppelin hangars, the market has been a landmark of Riga since the 1930s. Inside, you’ll find an incredible variety of local products, from fresh and smoked fish, meat and dairy to vegetables, berries, pickles, traditional rye bread and much more.
Our guide will take you through the market’s colourful pavilions and introduce you to the tastes and traditions of Latvia. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to try 20+ different local food products and specialities — including several varieties of cheese, meats, fish, bread, hemp pesto and other traditional Latvian favourites.
