Trip to Ogre
Enjoy the miracles of Christmas on the pedestrian street of the town, dancing around a Christmas tree in the company of angels in the light of a Bethlehem star on the top of the tower.
Two choices are available:
- One of the most convenient ways is to get to Ogre is by train, which will take you only 40 minutes. Trains leave 2-3 times in an hour.
- Secondly a private trip by car on request with a driver/guide. Starting from 4 persons.

We are excited to share that Old Riga Christmas market will be open from November 27, 2022 till January 2, 2023!
This year the traditional Christmas Market in Riga begins on the first Sunday of advent where the air is filled with the tempting aromas of ginger, cinnamon, mulled wine and roasted almonds. To add to the overall feeling of Christmas spirit somewhere around, the market provides an opportunity to meet Santa’s little helpers with a view to ask them to deliver kid’s letters directly to Santa. Customers will be entertained by various music ensembles, Folk groups on Saturdays and Sundays, but a DJ will perform on Fridays through the Christmas market. Visitors will be offered exquisite street-food menus, including sweets and delicacies, traditional Latvian dishes and special cocktails.
