Snow White exhibition 2023/24
The Garden of Lights is coming to Riga for the first time to host a light show inspired by the story of Snow White. This outdoor event filled with light shows will take you into the world of children’s stories. No matter your age, our guests will enter the forest and scenes from popular stories.
Let’s start a wonderful journey in the Magic Garden, the story world where you, your family and friends will walk the path of light and discover the fate of Snow White, the mother of evil, the dwarves and the king.
The exhibition will also feature interactive content and challenges for children, as well as a series of special video installations throughout the exhibition to document the visit to the Site. Light, fun and original.
When you take your lover for a walk in the forest, you’ll find a lost princess taking refuge from her jealous mother-in-law and a small house always open to new guests.

Ballet The Nutcracker
The ballet takes place in Riga at the end of the XIX century. The city’s ancient streets, Art Nouveau interiors, botanical patterns and the like create the mood of the day: It’s winter outside, but flowers are blooming inside. Christmas tree decorations and toys come to life and Maria’s dreams begin to come true. Although the sound is created according to the rules and standards of classical ballet, it all takes place on Christmas Eve.

Ballet La Bayadère
Latvian National Opera will present French artist Marius Petipa’s ballet La Bayadère for the first time, with music by Ludwig Minkus.
La Bayadere is the only magnificent ballet that has not yet been performed in Riga. Almost the entire ballet troupe of the Latvian National Opera took part in the complex show. Only a few ballet companies can reach the level of “La Bayadere”. Now the Latvian National Ballet has become one of them.
For more than 100 years, audiences have been captivated by the stunning choreography of Marius Petipa’s romantic tale of the elegant temple dance Nikiya. Her love for the brave warrior Thorol is put to death in the luxurious Eastern palace, where passion and intrigue are deadlier than vipers.
